Innovating in Aquaculture - Interview with Julian Beatty

Julian Beatty, MD of Nova Q, was recently interviewed by The Innovation Platform for their latest issue. Nova Q is focused on delivering innovations to our customers across all our products – from agriculture to renewables to waste water treatment.

The interview, though, focused on our innovative offering for aquaculture producers. Nova Q offers two main products for Recirculating Aquaculture Systems: RAS-Right which helps seed and maintain effective bio-filters, and Hydrus™ RAS, which offers quick and effective disinfectant of systems while not being classed as hazardous.

It was great to discuss how Nova Q are helping to drive forward an industry which is itself a huge innovation in how we harvest fish.

As Julian put it in the interview, ‘having the capacity for fast disinfection of RAS systems, followed by a rapid and predictable restart of the biomedia, is a strong value proposition’, and we are always glad to have a chance to share this message with a wider audience.
