Research

Nova Q are always pursuing research into our technologies. Our aquaculture research is focused on our UK hub in Stirling, Scotland, although we have research projects and trials ongoing from Eastern Europe to Western Canada.

We are currently leading a UKRI funded project in the UK, exploring the range of benefits to be gained in RAS from our innovative ‘maintenance dosing’ approach.

Other projects include trials exploring the ability to use bacteria to limit the formation of off-flavour compounds such as Geosmin and MIB in full grow-out RAS.

We are always looking for new partners – both academics and research institutions – who would like to develop projects around microbiome management in RAS.
