BrewTus bioreactors represent the latest in microbiome management technology.

They have been developed by our partner company Advanced Water Technologies, and give the capacity to multiply large volumes of bacteria for ready application into large RAS systems.

Advantages of BrewTus bioreactors:

Ready-to-use product for both inoculation and maintenance of moving-bed and fixed-bed biofilters.
Enhanced functionality for reduction of nitrites.
No need to introduce biomedia to the BrewTus, allowing the bacteria to be transferred by pump.
Addition of RAS-Right bacteria from bioreactors has been seen to reduce mortality in fish transport.

BrewTus units contain all required heating, aeration, monitoring and control systems.

They are used with a combination of RAS Right bottled bacteria combined with RAS Boost powder, which contains a carefully formulated blend of micro and macro nutrients for stable multiplication of the bacteria.

RAS-Boost ensures bacteria are fully functional in 7 to 10 days, and the bioreactor can then be kept running as a continuous source of RAS-Right bacteria, often acclimatized to any salinity.
