Nova Q also provides advice and support to wastewater clients from a biological viewpoint, often providing a fresh perspective to the traditional engineering focused advice.

At the request of our customers, we’ve also developed a range of training programmes around biological wastewater treatment.

The training can either follow a standard format or can be tailored to the needs of the client.

Typical modules include:

Fundamentals in wastewater treatment
Introduction to bacteria
Wastewater treatment system
Plant monitoring and control
Nitrification and denitrification
System troubleshooting

Length of the training course will depend on the client, but typically, these modules can be tailored from a couple of hours to a full day course. It is also possible to run the course multiple times in a day to account for shift work.

We like to put an emphasis on understanding the basics of wastewater treatment to arm clients with the tools to manage issues as they arise, as well as to understand the trends that can be the start of a problem arising.
