Regular Restart for Research RAS

Many of our customers are research institutions running multiple RAS which they need to frequently disinfect between trials.

We have worked with them to refine an approach for safe and thorough disinfection followed by quick and reliable restart of the biofilter.

This is achieved through a combination of our Hydrus™ oxidant-based disinfectant, and our RAS Right bacteria.

By having an ongoing ‘bioreactor’ of RAS Right bacteria running (with minimal cost and effort required), it’s possible to quickly and reliably restart a biofilter with predictable results. This stability between trials allows for the generation of reliable ‘base-line’ data, adding to the value and comparability of future trial work.

This approach is already in use in a number of highly regarded research institutes.
